Welcome to this Ultimate guide to get you started- Drone: Shadow Strike cheats, tips and tricks strategy walkthrough.

It’s been voted as the best app of the week for 3 weeks running and it really is an epic and so-real action military warfare game that tasks you with piloting a drone. Using all of the equipment available- you’re required to take out designated targets.

Your job is to Defend, Survive, Strike or Escort.

The game is set in the heart of a covert aerial warfare with real world inspired immersive environments. In total there are 24 high impact levels and 4 real world inspired campaigns. More levels have been promised but considering that there are over 280 Challenges & 70 Achievements- You’ll be playing this game more often than not!

You work your way up the chain of command over various missions using ultra high tech equipment, strategy & skills and superior firepower, all at the tap of your fingertips! There are 20 official Ranks- You start as a an Airman Basic and rise up to command as a Master General by gaining xp throughout the levels.

Dominate the battlefield with airstrikes, nukes & more!

There are many dronYou can choose to be light & stealthy or loud & proud while flying in the UCAVs.

There are 7 different types of Drones (UCAVs) that you’ll eventually be able to fly with the most expensive being $7, 500, 000- some of are real life aircrafts! and the original FLIR (Forward looking Infrared) camera, the game puts you in the hot seat of a special ops operator. There are 4 types of possible weapons: Cannons, Missiles, Rockets & Bombs and an endless amount of upgrades.

Canons – This is your primary gun thats takes out most infantry and trucks. Start with the minigun and upgrade it as you go along. Eventually it’ll make sense to buy the Vulcan which is basically a newer version. Considering you;ll have other weapons the vulcan is good enough for most levels but since you will have money raking up- you can opt for the HEL laser canon which works a treat. The remaining are good for challenges.

Missiles – This is your secondary weapon – to cause a damage to heavier vehicles like tanks and mini tanks. The Hellfire missile is what you need though, work towards purchasing it then upgrade the capacity and reload time.

Rockets – The rockets are a cross between the canon and missiles I guess, youre able to lock on to vehicles and fire. Normally you have to aim and shoot- but with rockets you can aim, lock, and move on. Then fire. I prefer to stay with the cyclops rockets, they work faster and the capacity is high.

Bombs – Bombs create havoc in  a big area. I don’t find much use for them, because by the time you get to use them- you’re drone is more powerful and your weapons are powerful. They are good for challenges though and by the time you purchase one- you’ll probably be able to afford the paveway bomb. When you get a whole load of tanks- they can be handy.

Drones – During gameplay you barely notice the drones capabilities to be honest except the armor against infantry missiles. I upgraded to the mantis, then to the avenger and finally saved for the ROC. It works a treat and looks cool.

Enhancements – Enhancements are good if you’re finding something difficult. But as i’ve completed the game with no enhancements except the ones you get for free during game tutorials, its possible to finish levels. Plus the more difficult, the more fun.

Gold – You get gld throughout the game, personally I have not yet used any gold. Its possible to play the game without the extras, or skips.

For every mission there is an overall objective such as killing a VIP with a secondary mission including get a kill-combo, etc. At the end of the level, you will be rated with 3 stars based on your performance. If you failed to get the perfect three-star rating. Not to worry as you can return later. I would suggest upgrading then returning.

The game is free but some upgrades require annoying payments. I’m not a fan of in-app payments but if you want an easy game. Go for it!

Best Tips so far!

As the fame is based on ranking up and upgrading, that is hihly selective to your liking.But here are some general tips to make sure you don’t waste too much time trial and erring. Ill continue to post more hints as the game grows.

1. Complete the challenges!

Each levels has a number of optional challenges for you to do besides the main objective. These challenges reward you with a nice amount of cash and gold. Be sure to check to them before you go into the level.

2. Bring the right weapon for the job!

There are different types of weapons, but the ones you’ll be using for a while are your cannons and missiles. Cannons are split into two different types: cannon and heavy cannon. Regular cannons act like machine guns: rapid fire, but pretty weak. Heavy cannon bullets travel slower but deal more damage. Also to note are each cannon’s bullet type: anti-infantry and anti-vehicle. If you’re going into a zone with a lot of infantry, obviously bring the anti-infantry cannon! There are also multi-purpose cannons that deal an equal amount of damage to everything.

The missiles also come in two flavors: anti-vehicle and anti-tank. Vehicles are classified as the lightweight speedy vehicles, such as jeeps. Tanks are, well, tanks! Bringing the right weapon types is key for beating some of the levels within a certain amount of time.

3. Watch out for rockets!

The main way enemies will be able to deal damage to you are through rockets. RPG soldiers will be marked with a high priority target market, which is a blinking red box that is more accented than the regular red target boxes. Take these guys out as fast as you can so you can save your flares for an emergency. The best way to do this is to upgrade your drone’s Radar functionality, which increases the range of your map alerts. You see those icons that surround the border of your screen? Those are the map alerts, and when you have an upgraded radar, it’s easier to see where the RPG soldiers are.

4. Switch between weapons for maximum firepower!

Get into the habit of switching between your weapons on the fly. You shouldn’t ever let one of your weapons reach maximum load, because that means you’re not switching enough! Fire everything you’ve got! If one gun runs out, immediately switch to another; don’t wait for it to reload.

5. Stay on the move to take out targets swiftly!

There’s a combo system in the game. If you kill another enemy within a couple seconds from another kill, you’ll get a combo bonus. You can keep the chain going by destroying as much as you can as fast as you can. You’re rewarded with a lot of points, which means more cash at the end of the level! Some levels even have challenges where you need to get a combo up to a certain amount, so practice scanning around for enemies.

Keep moving. If you can stay on the move, you can take out more targets easily plus this can defend your from incoming attacks. The same concept of playing first person shooting game, you need to keep moving as part of your defense mechanism and in this game you are able to do the combo system.

6. Best levels for money 

Blackfly is an easy level where you’ve got to destroy the fuel trucks- should take you two minutes to complete. The others are Hawkeye, Blockshot and fishhook – about $120, 000 per game.

7. Getting free cash and gold

These are the two types of currency in game and there is a way for you to get it for free. All you have to do is to watch advertisement videos and then choose whether you like cash or gold as your reward upon watching them. This is a test of patience as you can watch until it run out of videos and wait for this video to regenerate as this won’t take long to refresh for you to watch again.
